A little bit of this and a little bit of that oh and Give today :)

Today is Giving Tuesday. Make a donation for a good cause today :) It will make your heart sing :) We gave to the Wounded Warriors Project and I hope even our tiny amount helps. They gave so much and we should thank them and help them however we can!

Onto Suburban Art...
The stickers are doing really, really well. As in I can't keep up some days. Other days there is a lull. Like no orders for days then in 1 day 10. Its amazing. Check out our new website:

It will tell you about the shop and bring you right to the Etsy store! Pretty awesome.

I also have started doing JAMBERRY NAILS!  I am now an independent consultant! What IS Jamberry? It is just the latest craze in nails! It is a vinyl, heat activated sticker that lasts up to 2 weeks on finger nails and up to 4-6 on toes! Check it out and if you want to host a party or join my team, just let me know!

Onesie Stickers and Utopia

Its been a while since I last posted.
I have been busy being a new mommy. And seriously I love every minute of it.
The little guy is already 5 months old, almost 6.

He is such a good baby. Lots of smiles and giggles and seriously, I wouldn't trade my time home with him for anything in the world. I know, you must think I live in Utopia, but after waiting for a miracle,  he is here and that IS Utopia.

When he naps and between cleaning and laundry etc... I am making onesie stickers. And selling them on Etsy. I know, I swore I would never ever use them again but hey, if I can make some cash and satisfy my creative energy then why the hell not?

So take a look ....

And here is a look at the cutest baby. Ever.

The Suburban Artist

I have a new website. My time with Other People's Pixels was coming to an end in March. So I began to look around and found Virb. I liked their templates and it was easier to do than OPP. The price with a coupon was 5$ a month for 5 months then 10$ a month. And the choices were much, much better. Not many font choices but overall a much cleaner site.

I named this blog The Suburban Artist to really embrace what and who I am. I am now a mother. Does this mean I stop being a creative person? Taking photographs, even though these days mostly from an iPhone? Even if I am taking endless photos of my beautiful baby, does that make me less of an artist?
Some would say yes and that I am more mundane than ever. That being a SUBURBAN ARTIST is bad, not truly an artist.

But as I look at my most recent photo that I took today, yes with my iphone, I think not. I think being a Suburban Artist is amazing. And I will continue to be one and be proud that I am a Suburban Artist.

We are FAMILY!

Well we are home. With our SON. We are thrilled. We are ecstatic. We are happy. He is home, and healthy. And a dream come true. We were joined by my parents, sister and brother, and my aunt and cousin.  It was really great to have everyone there. But to have my cousin, who is adopted like me, hold my son was just amazing. And the three of us are all 18 years apart! I am 36, he is 18 and my son was 4 days old. Life is amazing.
